Could You Benefit from HVRP Services?

Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists, Inc. (VRSI) utilizes the Department of Labor Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program (HVRP) grant for helping veterans overcome housing challenges and find meaningful, stable careers.

If you are a veteran and your housing situation is making it difficult to find or keep a job, we want to talk to you. Rather than trying to navigate complex requirements on your own, please reach out to our team today. We are here to help you determine your eligibility and find the right path forward.

  • You served in the U.S. Armed Forces: We work with veterans of various backgrounds and discharge statuses. Even if you are unsure if your service qualifies, let us look into it for you.

  • Your housing is uncertain: Whether you are staying in a shelter, "couch surfing" with friends, facing an eviction notice, or leaving a transitional program, you may qualify for support.

  • You are ready to work: If you are motivated to enter the workforce but face barriers like lack of transportation, tools, or professional clothing, we are here to help you clear those hurdles.

The primary objective of the HVRP program is to help you overcome barriers and secure a stable career.

  • Work Readiness: You must be motivated and ready to enter the workforce or engage in training that leads to employment.

  • Barrier Removal: You will work directly with an Employment Specialist/Vocational Counselor to address obstacles such as a lack of professional clothing, specialized tools, or transportation needs.

Eligibility is often broader than people realize.
